Who we are

Heat Pump Cost Guide is an independent research site. We track installed heat pump prices and incentive programs in the United States and Australia, verify every figure against the issuing agency’s own page, and publish the date of the last check next to the data. We sit outside the industry on purpose: no installation work, no manufacturer sponsorships, no placement deals. When a partner pays us a fee for connecting you to a quote service, the affiliate disclosure says so, and it never changes a number in a table.

What we do

We track installed prices and incentive programs for heat pumps in the United States, Australia and Canada. Every incentive figure in our tables is checked against the issuing agency and carries a check date.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, install or broker heat pumps.
• We do not accept payment for placement in a comparison.
• We do not publish a rebate amount we have not confirmed on an official page.
• We do not use generated text as the final answer on a page. Drafts may be assisted; published claims are checked by a human against a primary source.

How the site makes money

Advertising, and in some places affiliate links. See the affiliate disclosure. Revenue never changes a figure in a table. If it did, the table would say so.

Errors get published on the corrections page, with the date and what changed. Write to us at the contact page.
